  • Mental Health Reablement

    Cheshire East Council offers a Mental Health Reablement Service. The support focuses on coping techniques, promoting social inclusion, building self-esteem and goal setting. This may include providing support with housing, debt, low self-esteem and isolation, accessing social groups or voluntary work.

    This service is only available following an assessment of your needs by a social care or health professional.

  • Adult and Older People's Community Mental Health Teams

    The Adult and Older People's Community Mental Health Teams support patients with mental health problems in the community and acts as a resource for GPs and other community staff. It is also a single point of access into secondary care mental health services. The team provide treatment and support following assessment and can refer individuals to other appropriate services.

    Requires a referral by a heathcare professional.

  • 0 - 18 Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Crewe

    They are a team of specially trained Doctors, Nurses, Therapists, Primary Mental Health Workers and Admin Staff whose job it is to improve the mental health of children and young people.

    They see children and young people up to 18 years of age who have been referred by a professional.


  • Learning Disability Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (LD CAMHS)

    They work with children/young people with a learning disability/global developmental delay and their families.

    Referrals to this service are usually made when the young person is displaying problematic behaviour which may include difficulties such as aggression e.g. hitting out or self-injury and/or sleep problems.

  • Macclesfield Eating Disorders Service

    Macclesfield Eating Disorders Service offers outpatient support for adults with an eating disorder in East Cheshire. The team provides talking therapies, physical health advice and dietetic expertise.

  • 24/7 Mental Health Helpline

    If your mental or emotional state quickly gets worse or deteriorates, this can be called a ‘mental health crisis’. In this situation, it is important to get help quickly.

    Please call 0300 303 3972 and our dedicated local staff will support you to access the help you need. The phone line is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is open to people of all ages – including children and young people.

  • My CWA (Formerly Cheshire Without Abuse)

    My CWA deliver a ‘whole family, whole journey’ service to local families affected by domestic abuse.

    They offer crisis accommodation, advice, information, support, recovery and therapeutic programmes for adults and children and a behaviour change programme for people who are abusive in their relationships.

    Mental Health Support Specialist, Support to you, specialise in delivering personalised, specialist care to clients with a range of mental health problems. Our aim is to help our clients achieve their goals.

  • Motherwell CIO - pregnancy and post natal support service

    A service provided for women by women, promoting positive health and wellbeing, by offering a range of educational services, holistic therapies and mental health support.

    Motherwell has birth support workers who work with vulnerable mums, to provide them with the knowledge of what options are available to them for birth choices and how to keep healthy during pregnancy. They help develop positive relationships with self, family and local communities, by providing a range of groups within the local community.

    My Mind is an NHS website run by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, developed for everyone interested in the mental health and well-being of children and young people across Cheshire and Wirral.

    Whether you want to understand more about how you're feeling and find ways to feel better, or you want to support someone who's struggling, Young Minds can help.

    Young Minds provides support and advice guidance to children, young adults and parents who may be concerned about their child’s mental health through the helpline.

  • Mind

    Mind helps you make choices about treatment, understand your rights, or get the right support. Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Mind campaigns to improve services, raise awareness, and promote understanding

    Mind offers a range of services including drop-in centres, counselling, befriending, advocacy, crisis helplines, supported housing, employment, and training schemes.

  • Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) - Early Intervention in Psychosis Team

    Early Intervention in Psychosis (EI) is one of the most evidence-based specialties in psychiatry. Offering up to a 3-year service to young people aged 14 up to 65 years who have experienced a first episode of a psychotic illness. Treatment is led by the NICE Guidelines for Schizophrenia and related conditions and the team has a focus on demonstrating the quality and effectiveness of the service through evidence-based outcome measures.

  • VoiceAbility - Advocacy in Cheshire

    VoiceAbility is an independent statutory advocacy service to support people to understand and participate in the health and social care decision making which affects them.

    VoiceAbility aims to provide support for people with an autistic spectrum disorder, carers, people with SEN/learning disabilities, people with mental health difficulties, older people, people with physical disabilities, people with sensory impairment and people with an acquired brain injury.

  • Talking Therapies - Eastern Cheshire

    Talking Therapies aims to improve access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services. Talking Therapies offers support for a range of difficulties such as depression, anxiety, stress, panic, sleep difficulties, phobias, PTSD, OCD, social anxiety, loss and bereavement, relationship difficulties, significant life changes, menopause, adjustment issues, low self-esteem, trauma and abuse.

    Talking Therapies provide online support, F2F services, telephone, video calls, group sessions. Interventions Talking Therapies provide include guided self-help, CBT, counselling and group workshops
